That's 💯% true!!

We're all suffering together in one way or another. We could hold hands and change something for the better, for all of us, for our daughters and granddaughters. Instead, people rather cut the branch they're sitting on. The lack of HRT care fucks up every woman at some point. Hate doesn't fix that.

Because trans HRT is so hard to get, cancer survivors don't get the HRT they need. Women suffering through debilitating menopause symptoms don't get the care they need.
Women's health is in the trenches. Doesn't matter how you got there.

amount of time and the symptoms have worsened or stayed the same. You shouldn't lie about these things, but if this is true for you, YOU ABSOLUTELY have to tell it to them like this. This can often rattle a Dr awake to other possibilities.
- May your pillow always be comfy💕

- Here's a tip for if you're overweight: Be honest to yourself, some symptoms are causing by being overweight. BUT there's also a lot of shit that can have nothing to do with your weight. In such a case, if a Dr. says to just lose weight, tell them that you've lost x amount of kilos in the past x

- Learn to read labs. Even if a Dr says it's fine, you might still see something that might give you a hint as to what to do next.
- Please don't give up. You deserve quality of life. Doctor shopping is kinda frowned upon, but if something is impacting your everyday life, it should be looked at.

- It's not you. Unless you act like an entitled asshole, the problem likely isn't you. Especially if you are young and female (or assumed to be female bc you're not out yet), Doctors and nurses often are sure you're just an anxious hypochodriac who exaggerates. Especially if you're overweight.

- People who have a condition often know way more about the finer details than doctors. There's no shame in looking into Reddit or forums.

- Sometimes Drs know better but gaslight you or avoid treating you the way you need simply bc they don't want to get sued if something happens.

the "fine-tuning" of someone who suffers but still manages to survive their everyday life and has labs that barely touch the edges of what's "normal".
- Labs often calculate their "normal" ranges out of all their patients' average. If many patients undiagnosed, the ranges are deeply fucked up.

- PCOS isn't just a few beard hairs and irregular periods. Insulin resistance is a serious problem that needs to be treated and managed before it gets out of hand
- Doctors are just humans, and often very biased. They want to treat people who have clearly visible problems. They often can't handle

- Lithium can lower thyroid function. Misdiagnosing hashimoto's as bipolar and worsening it w/ lithium unfortunately is something that can happen
- Period cramps are supposed to be annoying, not making you unable to leave the house. You DESERVE care for endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS etc.

like being tired often or "lazy" NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT ASAP especially if you experience "phases" of being tired/ low-key depressed and "good phases", yes even if it could be chalked up to seasonal depr. or bipolar. Hashimoto's often comes in waves with "normal" labs for many years.
November 15, 2025 at 8:41 PM
- Doctors often DON'T KNOW SHIT about lab work. They might say your labs are good. But if you experience symptoms, you absolutely should research what is actually a "normal" range. For example, Drs and labs often say a TSH of 2 to 4 is "normal" but actually anything above 2, IF you HAVE symptoms

- Vitamin D3 NEEDS Vitamin K. Taking high vitD without K for a long time can cause issues.
- ADHDers often need melatonin and magnesium
- people with "normal" B12 levels can still experience deficiency symptoms
- some medications (and health conditions) can cause piss poor B12 absorption
