This past month I've been doing some physical sketches every day. One surprising benefit was that I managed to get a scalie headshape I quite like. So based on that I then tried drawing a certain species idea I've had for a long time digitally. Far from perfect, but I really feel like I'm on my way

This is something I made nearly two years ago. I should do more blender stuff, but I'm spotty in doing any of my hobbies. This has probably actually been where I've peaked so far in terms of blender, anytime I go back I'm having to relearn a bit xP. I will do more someday though

well that was a simple fix. just a simple parenting issue

closely copying a friend's work (hi th3pooka.bsky.social) to learn how to get into actual model making and rigging in blender, and I still end up with random issues (he's been a great help though). I'm trying to just learn by forcing myself to do it even though I know the final model won't be good

I made these a while back, originally intending to work on them more, but never got around to it. So instead I'll just send them here in a technically-WIP state. The second one was probably finalised enough tbh but the other two, especially the bedroom/fireplace scene, I wanted to work more on.

Another follow up, I finished the game. A month ago whoops xP. But yes, it was very fun. BG3 is a great game. As for my other character Renyek the dragonborn, he's still in act 1 and idk when I'll get back to him if ever

A couple minecraft blender renders. Very self indulgent, but I haven't used blender in a while so I wanted to do something just for fun. I definitely need to learn how to use geometry nodes though if I ever want to do something like the first image again though lol

This time the view is much less dense, with a well in the top centre, two carpet-topped gazebos on either side of the image, and a wooden structure near the bottom left. Humans dot the scene on the sandy ground, all facing 1 of 4 directions. Like the previous image, there are two lizard people. One is facing and seemingly talking to a human, while the other is squatting by the well smoking what seems to be some form of cigarette, while another human near the well is seen holding a coin as if to throw it in. Under the upper left gazebo a human can be seen by a table, perhaps buying from a seller hidden from the camera

Follow up: Completed act 2. Not started act 3 for real yet, mainly just did some of the intro, but have to sleep another time to actually get to Baldur's Gate itself.

Update on that: did pretty much all I could find in the underdark, but before I move on to act 2 properly, I want to get the Lae'zel plot stuff done. Here's a shot of my party standing around like some kinda band posing for their album cover.

oh and I should say that this dragonborn fella is called Renyek. So my characters are Renyek and Yavatru

I guess I should say hi here. Hi, I'm me, one day I might talk about the lore of my username. I like worldbuilding, conlangs, and a bunch of other things. I guess I'll just drop off two BG3 characters I have as I play through the game for the first time. Alt text for more details on them.
