I've been loving Aice Room's songs and was inspired to quickly draw Bluu based on one the poses of their album art! It also gave me an excuse to use Bluu's newsboy outfit!

My goal was to make a refsheet for the costume and I'm pretty happy with it! Later on, I'll probably change some details and make it more polished uwu

Flat color refsheet of Bluu Takasaki’s cute new Newsboy Outfit! Bluu is a water deer, currently has a slightly curvy female body shape with small fangs and antlers. Their fur is pastel blue with white blue spots, their mouth hooves and antlers are a dark green/cyan, Bluu’s eyes are a bright green! The overall color of their outfit is baby blue, with various shades of blue secondary colors. On Bluu’s head is a baby blue newsboy cap with a white band and bluish black brim. Around their neck is a light blue bow with a bright cyan gemstone in the center. Bluu is wearing a white blouse with puffy long sleeves, where the shirt is form fitting across the torso such that it accentuates Bluu’s breasts. On the cuffs of the sleeves are small light blue bows. Bluu is also wearing a baby blue vest that is similar in shape to a corset, further showing off their breasts. The vest is struggling to stay buttoned due to Bluu’s curvaceous body, where bluish black suspenders are used to hold the vest up against their badonkers. There is also a vintage gold pocket watch hanging from Bluu’s left pocket, with its chain wrapped around one of the two buttons on the vests. On Bluu’s bottom are bluish black high-waist shorties. On Bluu’s right thigh are white thigh-highs held up by thin bluish black belt wrapped around the thigh. On the left leg, there is a loose fitting white sock worn at calves, similar to a Japanese gyaru, with a light blue ribbon and bow at the top of the socks.

The main aesthetic I aimed for was an early 1900s newsboy/journalist (mainly loved the hat), and it was really hard! 😭

Hi everyone~!

I've been studying sketching lately and making a new costume for Bluu!

My skills are still very rough, but I feel happy with what I've made so far!

After several years of infrequent drawing spurts and focusing on my own progress, I finally feel that my efforts are starting to show!
Sketch of Bluu Takasaki the Water Deer with a feminine body shape wearing a new costume. The costume was inspired by early 1900s fashion, primarily newsboys and journalists. A lot of the elements were also based on Japanese Ouji or Boystyle fashion, which is similar to Lolita but features cute masculinity. On Bluu's head is a newsboy cap, as well as a bow tied on Bluu's neck. Bluu's torso has a puffy long sleeve blouse, form fitting on the chest to showcase Bluu's breasts. Bluu is also wearing a vest that is cut such that it shows off and supports the breasts like a corset. The vest is also struggling to stay buttoned from trying to contain Bluu's curvy body. Bluu is also wearing high-waisted shorties that are puffy or baggy on the very short pant sleeves. On Bluu's left thigh, there is a ribbon and bow tied around the thigh. On Bluu's left lower leg, there are knee-high tights. On Bluu's right leg are thigh-high tights, being held up by a garter. Since Bluu is a deer, the tights end at the feet, exposing Bluu's hooves
