Cosmic contrasts: the planetary nebula IBHASX J055226.2+323724 is located in the 500 million year old open star cluster M37. It is only the 3rd example of an association between a PN and open cluster! It seems to be the oldest PN found so far. bit.ly/4lB3t68 🔭#astrophotography🔭📷

NGC974 is a SB galaxy located in Triangulum. The distorted spiral arms hint towards interaction with NGC969. Other gals in the pix: NGC 970, a companion of NGC969; NGC978 with PGC9823; NGC971 is a star that is in NGC by error. bit.ly/4lB3t68 🔭#astrophotography🔭📷

Abell 262 is a galaxy cluster with some 100 members in the constellation of Andromeda, near the border to Triangulum. It is part of the Pisces-Perseus-supercluster. At the center is the cD galaxy NGC708. bit.ly/4lB3t… 🔭#astrophotography🔭📷

van den Bergh 140 is a blue reflection nebula in the constellation Cepheus. Adjacent is a large molecular cloud complex which makes the area around vdB140 a quite colorful region with blue, red and yellow tones. bit.ly/4lB3t68 🔭#astrophotography🔭📷

M110, aka NGC205, has a "wallflower existence" in Messier's famous catalogue. Although originally observed by Charles Messier in 1773, it never made it to his catalogue until it was added as its last entry not earlier than 1966! bit.ly/4lB3t…🔭#astrophotography🔭📷

vdB 133 is a reflection nebula powered by the yellow supergiant 44 Cygni. Its warm color makes the nebula appear white rather than the blue of reflection nebula powered by hotter stars. Adjacent is the large HII region LBN219. bit.ly/4lB3t68 🔭#astrophotography🔭📷

The NGC 70 group, aka VV166 or Arp 113 is a quite appealing object. It shows galaxies of various morphologies and the mutual proximity triggers bar instabilities, deformations and lots of tidal debris. bit.ly/4lB3t68 🔭#astrophotography🔭📷
