The older I get, the less this shit makes sense. Like, what would people prefer their taxes go to? It's got to go to something if they're collecting it, after all. It can either go back into the country, or into war and slush funds.

(aside: one things that always helps when I have a migraine is Jer smell [better a Jer, but he's not always here]. Maybe an Anna shirt would kick up some endorphins?)

idk, man, it just doesn't seem very 'united' when you think that nana should starve because you don't want your taxes going to SNAP/libraries/welfare/helping people. We've already got the pot to help people, let the larger community help without being an ass about it.

A community gets devastated by *waves hand at so many horrors*? Instead of expecting a single, crushed town to try to help people with its empty glass, we SHOULD have the massive community pool to help. That's what taxes SHOULD be there for.
