I haven’t been reading as much lately. Started Red Country by Joe Abercrombie and it’s already one that will help me get back into it. Abercrombie always has the sauce.

I just finished The Will of the Many by James Islington and it is one of the BEST books I have read in a long time. The definition of a page turner. And that ending, WHAAAAT? I can’t wait for the sequel, hopefully we see a release this year. This is the book Red Rising wishes it was…

I am reading The Will of the Many and I am a little over halfway through. This book is amazing and at the end of every chapter it leaves you wanting to know what’s going to happen in the next. Great read so far.

I finished “The Heroes” by Joe Abercrombie. Fantastic book, tension in every chapter. Some of the best prose and dialogue you can find in any book, as per usual from Abercrombie. In particular the chapter “Casualties” is one of, if not the, best chapter I have ever read in any book.

Just finished my first book of the year. The Great Hunt, the second book in the Wheel of Time series. Loved it, even more than book one (it was better imo) can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Book 1/30 read this year! #booksky

Tip to read more books:

Spend an hour a day reading instead of doomscrolling on your phone.

It might be easier to view this as a challenge.

So I finally finished Morning Star by Pierce Brown. Red Rising for me hasn’t been as glamorous as everyone on the internet made it seem. However, I can’t decide if I love or hate this series. There are times I am bored out of my mind but others where I am on the edge of my seat. 6/10

I know it’s important to talk about but I’m new here so hopefully no politics on the feed for just one day. Overstimulated from it all. Please post your favorite book, movie, anime, game to help me keep my mind off of things.

I already have more likes than I ever did at the other place (one) so I believe this place is great and I’m already on the up and up.

“You need to grow out of fantasy books.”

Listen,
I don’t drink,
I don’t smoke,
I RARELY commit fraud.

I need to find some way to escape the reality I live in from time to time and I am not doing anyone harm.
