I think what’s most striking about the last few months is how rarely anyone in the GOP applies this simple test. A lot of checks and balances rely on this kind of worrying about precedent but it’s now totally absent, as if they don’t think they’ll ever be out of power again.
Listen to this National Review writer. (Although I would prefer it if people supported the First Amendment on principle, not just out of self-interest.)

Whether what you're saying is true or not, you are the ones that committed the crime here. If you can send anyone at all to that foreign concentration camp without a hearing you can do it to anyone.

Had Jon Stewart OK'd us calling Trump admin fascist or Nazis yet with them grabbing random people off the street and sending them to foreign torture prison no due process, no opportunity to say they got the wrong person or to argue innocence in court?

I can't let this reality-inverting BS go. The US was a proponent and architect of the EU—in particular, its antecedent the ECSC—because Europe caused massive wars that killed millions (including hundreds of thousands of Americans) and integrating their economies would prevent another.

The important thing is not how far Tesla stock has fallen; it's how much farther it is possible to make it fall. Tesla's market cap is still nearly 20x higher than that of Ford, based entirely on hot air and wishful thinking, not sales or profits. That's a _lot_ of room to drop.
