Is it #TitmouseTuesday, or is it #TuesJay, or is it #TwosDay? So many choices. 🤔
I guess there's no reason why it can't be all 3. 🤷‍♀️ #Birds 🪶

Because bsky can always use more #herps ...

I went back in my archives to pull up this cute little corn snek we found in our ferns. Keep on getting those mice/rats, little dude (or dudette). We live near water so there's plenty of food supply for you.

I've told that raccoon it's ok to use our bird bath, but he must poop in the neighbor's yard, not ours. He didn't listen. #Mammals #WatchYourStep #WildlifePresents

What a great pic to start the weekend. My one, and only, pic of a kingfisher. She and her mate were chattering up a storm near the trout hatchery at the terminus of a creek that empties into Lake Burton. I'm betting that meals are an easy treat there. #Birds 🪶

It's #Fall y'all. We spotted this bucolic scene on the back road to Glen-Ella Springs Inn and Restaurant (listed on the National Register of Historic Places & a great place to stay and/or eat) last year. We love traveling along the back roads. #NEGA #Georgia #Wanderlust

Sliding Rock Cascade on Wildcat Creek is a short hike up a closed road from a parking area. The water is cold and refreshing - and the sliding is outstanding!

Oops. The shuttle at Brasstown Bald (the highest point in Georgia at 4,784 feet above sea level) was closed until further notice yesterday due to snow and icy roads making the road dangerous. Be careful out there. #NEGA #Georgia

From #herps to #insects, #birds, & #mammals, the leaf layer is more than just nature’s carpet - it’s a sanctuary, food source, & protective shield. These critically important pieces of microhabitat are entirely removed when we throw away our yard leaves. #LeaveTheLeaves

Passed out a Food Drive flyer to some of our neighbors last weekend and boy did they come through today. My 6' dining room table is jam packed with food for a local food pantry - and food is still being dropped off at our house. #NeighborsHelpingNeighbors
