It looks like this is basically an AI version of Dragon's Lair or Space Ace, where all of the interaction is restricted to a limited number of options... but this is worse, because you apparently must select these with your mouse from a few boxes at the bottom of the screen.

Enjoying Baby Steps, buuuuuuut the control scheme is bleeding into my actual life a little more than I'm comfortable with. Especially going up stairs. It is very weird!

I just noticed that there is a friendly bear in the wood grain of this credenza.
