Really don’t understand the “I can separate the art and the artist” crowd, especially when you can see said artist doing awful things in real time.

If a writer would have hated your family and friends, in what world can you separate that from what you’re consuming?

I forgot to post here because I’m not sure if they have a presence here but if you’re photosensitive please keep clear of the Booker prize’s content because their international list announcements video has horrendous glitch triggers
I’ve ranted about this for years but the need to be online as an author versus the rampant unregulated use of video announcements in publishing that often use seizure triggers is bad enough but having to beg them to stop is one of the most depressing parts of my job
