In this picture of Trump taken yesterday the right hand side of his mouth and his right eye both droop suggesting that his absence from view the other week is because he has had a stroke.

Amazing how signals improve when the centre pin of the antenna connector is soldered correctly and isn't corroded! M2-4 earlier today.

Anone care to speculate what could be causing the interference shown in the screenshot? There seems to be several well defined bands.

A timely post Phil, our 13 yo Westie is becoming incontinent and we don't always hear her at night when she bangs on the door to go out. The vet suggested we increase her tablets so hopefully that will help.

On the eve of the 80th anniversary of VE day I thought it appropriate to share this snippet from the eulogy my sisters and I wrote for my mother's funeral earlier this year. She died suddenly just before Christmas aged 93.

I am trying to work out what satellite I received. There was a data signal on 137.73MHz and another on 137.56MHz. Both signals disappeared just as Metop-C was going over the horizon. I didn't think Metop-C had any VHF tx capability. Bluesky won't let me attach a screenshot so here is a photo #wxsat

I'm swapping my 20W solar panel for this 100W one. The 20W one doesn't charge up the mast winch battery enough in winter due to short hours, less sunshine and most of what little we have shielded by trees. Just need to get some leads with MC4 connectors before I can connect it up.

Returning to radio content. My 10GHz transverter was deaf after I replaced the first rx FET badly. I replaced it again & the screenshot shows receiving the HB100 signal source at a distance of about 20m. It looks hopeful that I have corrected the problem I caused. Testing rx of beacons next.

It was NL8F but I messed up the map. The correct map for 2024 is this one. Oddly I haven't worked AK at all this year.
