Omitting that single "or" between "very bad shape" and "dead" doesn't make it less of a dumb Trump quote, but it certainly makes it seem less coherent.

"JAMES BOND" IS NOT A CODENAME. HE ALREADY HAS A CODENAME. IT IS 007. RESIST THE URGE TO CANONISE STUFF. CANONISATION IS THE MIND KILLER. CANONISATION IS AMERICAN

Or you do some sort of pre-credits scene where everyone is convinced Bond is dead, ending with a semi-serious reveal that he isn't. (And yes, some quip or one-liner like Lazenby's "That never happened to the other fella.")
You acknowledge it once — winkingly, briefly — and then never do so again.

Was trying to figure out the logic behind the ordering of the tracks on the 2nd CD / 3rd & 4th LPs, because it jumps around chronologically. And I almost think they're arranged in order of decreasing recording quality.
Those Swiss tracks that end it…

It's really a pile of changes — in regulations, in equipment, in inspections, and in behaviour.

This work was excluded from the canon by the Council of Ithor in 97 ABY, which decreed Han Primorism to be a heretical belief.

The character of Jar-Jar Binks, found in several of the Infant Vader texts, is clearly a trickster figure of the sort common in pre-Jedi cultures and suggests an element of syncretism among the early adherents.

Revan is just one of a number of stories about masked Sith Lords.
Likely all descended from an earlier, now lost ur-text.

It's like jokes about medieval pilgrims to the Holy Land coming back with enough pieces of the true cross to build a cathedral.
"Behold! The skull of Vader!"
"... I don't think Vader was a Twi'lek."
"How would you know? Did you ever see under his armor?"

One of the WEG supplements has a vendor whose flavor text includes an offer to sell you one of Vader's gloves.
Trioculus, after acquiring & losing the real glove, makes a fake because he believes the symbolism of owning it is just as important.
Why wouldn't other people do so as well?

Though the fun thing from the old EU is that it is possible to infer that there was likely a burgeoning underground market in forged Sith artifacts.

Next you're going to be telling me that Trioculus didn't really have the Glove of Darth Vader.

Walking side-by-side is a violation of his supposed rules!
Like, I get annoyed at groups walking abreast who don't move out of the way for others, but this is just fundamentally someone who doesn't understand people & public space.

One of them looks to be sitting in an airport departure lounge. Two of them are on transit.
Both situations where people spend a lot of time waiting around with nothing else to do.

Also the $12.50/week excluded milk. I'm guessing it was probably delivered & therefore was a separate item in the household budget.
A quick check of price data for Atlanta in 1947 shows milk averaged between $0.22 and $0.23 a quart. Or about $3.09 in inflation adjusted numbers.

Here we go. I knew I had posted about it.
Almost no fresh veggies. Meat (and even then only ground beef) for only one meal per day.
And margarine. So much margarine.

It gets even funnier: the article it's from ["High Prices", Life Magazine, Nov. 10, 1947] is on post-war inflation & how much less the same amount buys compared to 1939.
She's presented as an example of someone who counts every penny & makes sacrifices in order to have a below-average grocery bill.
