I feel like the only person on the planet who's exhausted by all the Game Awards hate. I just want to watch 3 hours of new game announcements and see some great games get recognized. Is that really so wrong?

I played one game of LEGO Party and now all I can think about is how soon until I get to play it again! It's a ton of fun!
My only complaint is that the online multiplayer seems to be restricted to private lobbies only. I couldn't find any option to play with randos.

Well today had a promising start but it's ending in the dumpster. Here's hoping today's #StateOfPlay can help me feel a little better.

I think I'm one of the freaks more excited for the actual racing in Kirby Air Riders than I am for City Trial.
When i was a stupid kid, I didn't appreciate how beautiful the tracks in Air Ride were. In Air Riders, that's been turned up to 11.

One of my favorite things to do is to find an OST to a game I know nothing about (except obviously the title and maybe an odd screenshot or comment) and try to guess what the game is like purely through the music.

Loving the Sonic Racing Crossworlds Open Network Test! I find putting my boy Omega in a handling-type car consistently puts me on or near the podium.
I'm just not a huge fan of most of the handling designs. I'm rocking the motobug one, but i hope there are more in the full game.

I feel really bad for Lost Soul Aside. The game comes out tomorrow, but if i didn't actively seek out information about it, I'd probably have no idea. It also doesn't help that this week is pretty stacked.

Also I'm very excited for the launch of Lost Soul Aside on Friday! Unfortunately, Shinobi and the Sonic Crossworlds ONT are both going to be competing with it for my attention, but it's a long weekend so I'm going to try to give all three some attention!

Just played the first level of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (thank you Sega for including early access with the Digital Deluxe Edition) and it is every bit as good as the demo! Sadly, an early work day prevented me from progressing further. Can't wait to get back into it!

Just played the first level of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (thank you Sega for including early access with the Digital Deluxe Edition) and it is every bit as good as the demo! Sadly, an early work day prevented me from progressing further. Can't wait to get back into it!
Just tried playing a bit of Chibi-Robo and it's unquestionably a great game that I'm mad I slept on when it first came out. However the camera is definitely an obstacle to fun. Especially after coming off of a game like Donkey Kong Bananza.

So I am overwhelmingly happy about all the Kirby Air Riders news we got today, and I am beyond stoked that we're getting lots of new characters and they can each ride on any machine, but I could have done without them all getting a copy ability. That was what made Kirby unique.

Between the excellent Kirby Air Riders direct and the announcement of an open network test for Sonic Racing Crossworlds, today is a great day for mascot racer fans!
