after dealing with the cactuar, they have deemed the coast is indeed clear, finally hythades (with hythlodaeus still comically injured in a cast to the point of being physically impeded) eat together under a pagoda at sunset, unaware of what is behind them

a one panel comic of hythlodaeus awaiting his intended recipient, emet selch, for an overboard valentines proposition, he is leaning back on an obscene amount of pillows, completely naked save for heart shaped glasses and a heart shaped pillow covering his crotch, there are petals and bouquets everywhere, and if that wasn’t enough he has a rose in his mouth. emet selch, naturally, is barely processing the insanity in front of him. he just expected a nice dinner when hythlodaeus asked to surprise him. needless to say he’s not forgetting this anytime soon. it’s likely the point.
