collection of sketchbook drawings, soft shapes stacked ontop of each other like stones, with subtle details and patterns - these are concept sketches of homes within a simple environment - tree designs and set dressing breakouts helping to inform the environmental narrative of a future character design. all in black and white simple shading with halftone filter.

collection of sketchbook scans exploring rune carvings that would decorate underwater cliff walls, starfish with embossed glyphs on their backs that when interacted with would allign with each other and communicate to the player through the glyphs on their backs, imbued with mana and ancient magic, to offer safe passage through treacherous spaces. some of the shape influence is from the soft pillow-like forms of microorganisms!

haló folks .ᐟ.ᐟ these were some tattoo concepts I made for an online friend in the earlier half of the year - inspiration was stars (clearly) an foliage + a smol home *ੈ✩‧₊˚
collection of loosely drawn concept sketches - they explore a character that’s a shooting star shaped (triangular body which tapers towards the neck where a sharp expressive star shape contains a cute face) the characters can be seen interacting with some imagery like small blocky homes and foliage further development of the last sketches, exploring different star types, many points, sharp and soft points, small trails, big trails, interacting further with foliage, expressing their emotions etc. my favourite is in the bottom right of the spread - a shooting star shoots over a short and wide flower where a small home rests within the flower head moving in the direction of the last image, I wanted to explore more of the imagery that was blatantly compiling the star character, foliage and a small home - attempting to better create a balanced composition with a bold silhouette -I think what would benefit these designs, is if I create a short story exploring the narrative elements of who this character is and why they are in this composition small decorative piece - a small shooting star smiles, they are holding their hands out, a small house floats up from their hands, a decorative wreath of leaves surround and frame the star, part of the wreath is not joined, in this space sits a smaller shooting star to help cohesively frame the character. I used a halftone filter in some areas of this piece where light shading would be
