i love the self-sacrifice theme. i’d probably try to fit some more removal, esp since ygra makes stuff like collective resistance quite appealing

scarwood bandits is hilarious. if you’re looking for that sort of stuff, force of vigor is quite fun with ygra, but less charming than bandits for sure

Why epicure of blood over marauding blight priest?

Archangel Avacyn? Courser of Kruphix/Oracle of Mul Daya?

certainly seems like a card that could fill a similar role as vesuvan drifter, but easier to enable- the lack of on-demand graveyard reordering means i can’t really think of a way to combo with it but if someone has a way i’d love to hear it!

tendrils of agony for recouping lost life. also this would be a very funny zero-land deck with just mdfc’s, rocks, and rituals

it feels particularly bad in vintage cube where it’s more difficult to always have cheap interaction

Maybe a one-drop is a one-mana spell that can be played proactively? So, most creatures and permanents, but not something like Portable Hole, and some instants and sorceries, like Ponder and Consider, but not stuff like Lightning Bolt or Giant Growth?

Make Bartolomé unblockable to swing in for lethal commander damage, card engine with Lurrus, fits nicely into the Oswald package, bonus points cause Bartolomé is a vampire so it’ll also gain you life.

I’d like to also nominate Entomb as an all-star with this card. You can entomb it to reanimate later, or, once it’s in play, entomb any creature to put that creature directly onto the battlefield, since the entombed card technically goes library -> graveyard- even at instant speed!

yeah, i agree that she’s definitely a great source of damage. my deck is mostly built around a density cheap cantrips digging towards high MV creatures and the occasional splashy instant or sorcery

interesting, it’s a very different direction from what I was considering but has some very cool cards

incredibly good taste
what’s your eshki list? i’m working on my own eshki deck atm and would be interested in seeing what other people have come up with

As Foretold: Inflict lethal combat damage with a dragon whose omen you cast and which you beheld (with a Behold a Dragon card) earlier in the game.
