certainly seems like a card that could fill a similar role as vesuvan drifter, but easier to enable- the lack of on-demand graveyard reordering means i can’t really think of a way to combo with it but if someone has a way i’d love to hear it!

Make Bartolomé unblockable to swing in for lethal commander damage, card engine with Lurrus, fits nicely into the Oswald package, bonus points cause Bartolomé is a vampire so it’ll also gain you life.

I’d like to also nominate Entomb as an all-star with this card. You can entomb it to reanimate later, or, once it’s in play, entomb any creature to put that creature directly onto the battlefield, since the entombed card technically goes library -> graveyard- even at instant speed!

very fun 7-2 in mixup draft with the ol flyers + equipment. despite feeling kinda outclassed at only 2/1 base, angel of invention still won me a lot of games, so maybe my gut instinct of feeling it was understatted by modern standards is not founded in any reality.

Surprised Surgical hadn’t come up yet. Blood Moon is gorgeous; Always Watching is beautifully haunting and has a superb combination of name, art, ability, and flavor text; and Exsanguinate has such elegant art, it genuinely looks like they’re dancing

something like this works if you want to set up a loop with guide + rev to mill your opponents. you can also grab other combos if you prefer. you can also replace recommission with refurbish if you want demon to also be able to get pod into play on its own earlier in the game
