It absolutely shows! I appreciate the effort you put in and the work you’ve done with Rean, so I’m excited to see where your performance takes him! I’m finishing Crossbell before playing IV and onward so it’s absolutely a part of the experience that I’m looking forward to!

I played the ENTIRE first game before recording for the second, so I was coming in fresh with all the knowledge of what transpired. Being in the know really helped connect to the material!

From Trails of Cold Steel II, your intro monologue as Rean *really* hit hard. Your growth as Rean across the games (that I’ve had the chance to play) has been incredible to see, but this is where it started to especially show itself.

The part of Bob's advice that's bad is "post it on the internet." The part of Alice's motivation that is bad is "I want praise and clout and affirmation without doing the work to acquire a skill."

For another, you can just do art and not post it. I do that all the fucking time. I make doodles for my tabletop game, I draw my little avatar guy. Art can be just for you and like four of your weirdest friends.

The purpose of human expression is not Posting.

And it's that underlying assumption, that the purpose of doing art is to post it online for clout and engagement, that makes this such a weird fucking take.

For one thing, you'll get WAY more shit for posting AI garbage and claiming it as you own work. Literally nobody will respect that.

Technologies are not inevitable. They are choices we make about the world we want to live in. We can put them away if we decide to.

That doesn't mean we WILL (we probably won't, so long as Capital reigns), but you can't surrender the truth that it is POSSIBLE.

But please do not turn those feelings into an attempt to claim a rational high ground, which everyone who has not given up yet should simply join you on, or else they are fools wasting their effort.

Just be tired, and take some time away to rest, and rejoin the fight when you're ready.
