The changes are awesome. No cash, OBM on an iPhone, not having to swim upstream for a seat dupe or full bins and being able to give connection info.
The tech did give advantages.

Yeah me. Tow driver finally came and took the car to the mechanic. Looks like a timing chain that royal screwed the engine. Oil everywhere. So do I sink the money into a new engine or get another car. I need a huge drink… at a tiki bar… in the warmth… and win the lotto.

Back then American Candy Co was in Selma. They made my favorite. Coconut and banana Longboys.

We’re talking back in the late 90’s. Wasn’t too far from the old Shaw AFB and if I remember right, just down the street was an old house that had a sign “Sister Jackson Fortunes read tarot card readings “ in neon. It was there forever. 😂

Naw. This was quite a few years ago Smiths Family restaurant. It was buffet and only open for lunch. Mr Smith was warm and welcoming and food was good.
The dining room walls were the old original doors from the hotel downtown.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a handful of family I really like. Good, honest and kind. Then there are rest. Most of them in law enforcement or teachers who I wished I’d never met. I loved Selma. There was a restaurant on 80 just outside of town that was awesome.

For the love of god tell me it wasn’t a Dallas County school teacher…. If so, it was probably one of my cousins in law.
