New executive order frames acknowledgment of intersex and trans people’s existence as “compromis[ing] public safety or promot[ing] anti-American values.”

That’s not troubling at all.

Not an exaggeration. For many trans people, withdrawing hormones has consequences far beyond dysphoria:
