Good to know! I'll likely include it as a larger fur meet in the other map. That said, it might still count as a hotel convention, depending on if it takes place at a hotel/convention center, has a dealer's den, and other activities (like panels).

In order to be added to the map, there needs to be formal backing behind it. Foundation as a nonprofit, money in the form of canceled registrations, stuff like that. In other words, either a paper trail or financial backing.

I'm going to add another category to the convention map in that case, though it'll probably be a small category. If it turns out to not be worth it later I'll worry about that when it happens. (3/?)

It would also be disingenuous to put it in the same category as former furry conventions, as those events happened and people went to them. But it's ALSO still interesting to know where and when certain planned conventions were meant to happen and just didn't. (2/?)
