Not sure how much longer the big club can fight the urge to recall MBN after a 3 pt night and more importantly, continued physical play we so sorely lack from the NHL F’s not named Cat and Larks

Great segment PI. However, I like the idea of a strong 2LD with a more defensive/hard-nosed tilt. Getting that adding Cossa and another year of growth for ASP gives us more over a longer term,including these prime years of Larks and Cat. Also, getting Genborg, MBN and Bear soon helps Overall D and O

Mac’s ability to motivate Ras, JT and Elmer stands out to me. Hopefully it’s self-perpetuating and snowballs. Ras and Elmer using their size adds another dimension to this team

I’d argue that it’s more how the Wings finished the game than Flames. Yes, they continued pressing relentlessly and good on them, would take Kadri in a heartbeat but too many pinches by D and F’s below the goal line with a lead. Situational awareness man

Hope you spend a lot of time dissecting this game on next episode. If Gibson isn’t dialed in, they lose this one imo. Not sure how the math works it out but if Gibson was league average I think they lose that game. The volume of slot and down low shots was totally unacceptable

Really hard to see a B for Ajo and MBD. ASP borderline B from they eye test imo. Didn’t like their game much vs Van. Gibson bailed them out big time

Good topic for an upcoming episode boys. Mo, imo, is the “quiet” leader in the room. Larks is more the cheerleader type but sometimes, not as often, let’s emotion dictate response. I’d like to see his post game interviews loom more like Mo and Gibson. Mo is natural choice to wear the C next imo

Seabass is really upping his game. Doesn’t have the same level of control as Trey but his poise and positioning has improved to the point that not only should he get a look in the D but if he shines, we can seriously consider trading one of our G’s to address other needs

You make a good point, however, it’s the same mental sag this core group has experienced for the last 3-4 years. Whether it’s bullied by OTT or crap the bed vs Colombus. I dis watch and they played a bery good 45 minutes of hockey
