What evidence is there that has “proven” that taxing rich is not the answer? Because there is very strong historical evidence that higher taxes on the rich enabled a fairer society with less poverty and more opportunity.

They won’t stop the employers who employ people with no right to work, because they should already check and don’t! What is the difference between checking a passport, birth certificate or immigration certificate and checking these digital ID cards?

How is that healthy for democracy? If your constituents don’t want their winter fuel payments stopped, they should be ignored by their MPs just so they can “tow the party line”

The narrative needs changing inequality is the real problem, if all the world’s billionaires were taxed just 2.3% annually on their net worth that money could end world poverty for good!
