Hey Mesa folks, you’re needed! Mesa UDS is proposing a transphobic policy that would forcibly out transgender students and put a hard definition of gender/sex in the district’s policy, barring students from using a name or pronouns that differ from their original birth certificate.
Take Action #Arizona: A #Mesa Unified School Board member is introducing a "gender dysphoria" policy at Tues 4/8 meeting. This bigoted policy would harm #transgender and #nonbinary students. Attend the meeting, contact the board members, and stand up for our students!

This notion that empathy is a sin or malignant to social advancement is such, to me, and obvious attempt by sociopaths to normalize their clearly anti-social, immoral, and evil behaviors. The worst part is how many will buy into it. Le sigh

I lay in the gloom listening to Ulver "Bergtatt," and a sharp memory of doing similar in the ancientpast (my junior year in college) emerges. It was winter and snowy. Norwegian black metal felt fitting, and at the time relatively unknown and more personal I suppose. Nostalgia is weird.
