No matter how good it may feel to talk shit about the people who got us into this mess, @aoc.bsky.social is spot on. We have to move away from being as divisive and hateful as the n@zis in the WH want us to be.
I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Y'all are once again missing the point of climate optimism.
It's not about ignoring the very harsh realities of the climate crisis -- it's about keeping people engaged in activism by reminding them that a better future is still possible.
