It's as I always have said, your comic needs to be deranged enough to scare away people prone to pearl clutching. That's why you always should add some problematic power dynamic or gratuitous violence in the first episodes to set the stage for a reasonable audience.

I find the darkness and isolation helps with getting work done as there's never a day when I'm like "Wow, I need to enjoy this fine weather and spend some time outside :)"

I'm fully onboard with stupid hard RPGs when build-crafting is important (I beat Elden Ring+DLC and 100% Ender Lilies) BUT if there is any precision platforming, I will switch down to the babiest mode available because I was not built for pogo jumps over spike pits, and I've made peace with that.
