Sure, it was amazing that a print magazine like that still existed. It’s amazing it still existed in the 2010s. No writers were making a living on Insider work. But! Insider is a wonderful place to debut Star Wars fiction — many short story writers went on to write novels.

The Duel: Payback: The AT-AT town brings to mind the walker designs in the Ronin novel that tied in to the first The Duel short. Fantastic setting. The neon looks slick, but the flickering black & white may be making my head hurt 😅
