He's a cerebral guy who can beat you in a variety of ways. Good org fit.
I also think the health stuff is probably a bit overstated. It was a non-structural injury this past year. On the whole he's been extremely healthy for his pro career. He even came back this past season and looked just fine.

Probably a toss up. Not sure Cubs want to risk him accepting if they're planning on using that money to upgrade.

And they should have the finances and trade pieces to add those two guys. They're now looking at about $55M to spend in payroll to even get back to 2025 levels. I expect a slight bump (10%?), which would give them in the $75M range to spend.
