As has been said, we paid for this data, and for these programs, with our taxes. They belong to us. The Dems need to start doing their jobs, and stop being toothless.
No one's blaming Democrats for causing this crisis, but yes, many of them are failing to meet this moment.
One Democratic senator could bring the chamber to a halt. House Dems can go to fed agencies being gutted by Musk with cameras in tow. Governors can push back. State AGs can bring lawsuits.

As has been said, we paid for this data, and for these programs, with our taxes. They belong to us. The Dems need to start doing their jobs, and stop being toothless.
I am fond of suggesting that the ‘universe’ is trying to teach us physics.

A client and I were talking today about how the strategies being employed by very public bad actors are almost indistinguishable from the way violators in domestic and other types of violent circumstances operate.
When I worked in (psych) hospitals, I saw them as bigger versions of family systems and how they operate. The nation is arguably much the same way. we understand problems differently, and communicate poorly. We have no epistemology. We need to talk about talking. What are your other suggestions?
