It was 2 years ago today that I got the phone call from my sister that mom was unresponsive and in the hospital. It was the start of the most painful week of my life.

#1 Saw A Complete Unknown and realizing how lucky I am: Got to see Pete Seeger and Arlo Guthrie at Carnegie Hall not long before Pete Seeger passed away. Met Odetta when I was 7 years old through my piano teacher and she took the (brief) time to teach little me throat singing. I still remember how.
