I was able to take my wife on a little moto date recently to a state (?) park. It was nice. Motorcycle are fun.

This article by @theridesofar.com discusses Harley's attempt at upcoming affordable bikes. As a Harley fan, I'm skeptical. The Triumph Speed 400 is cheap but well built and powerful (for it's size). I worry Harley will give us another iteration of the Street series.

AI is going to get people killed.
I just did a quick search for the rear axle nut tourque spec on a Motorcycle because the manual was in the house. Google AI search came back with 68.9Nm for this bike. I know that to be waaay light so I checked the manual. The actual spec is 145Nm.

I finally got to test ride the Yamaha XSR 900!
It was a guided ride so I couldn't really test it like I would have wanted but nonetheless, it was a very pleasant ride. I've never gone so fast in just 2nd gear before. 😁

Our roadtrip/move ended yesterday in New Jersey. Today I had to move my bike for street cleaning so I rode it to Starbucks in 40° F weather. 🥶
It's not going to be easy getting use to this weather again.

This was 3 years ago and I still think about this day. The roads we found that day were fun, the weather was excellent, the reason I ride is for days like that, not a care in the world.
