SpVgg Fürth ultra group Horidos held a banner against German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who recently made racist comments about migrants taking over the “urban landscape”:

“Eradicate racism,” it reads, with the letters MERZ of the German word for “eradicate” (Ausmerzen) being marked in black.

Can you show a single proof that any of the injuries was caused due to Maccabi Tel Aviv‘s supporters? Because official numbers published by the Israeli emergency services show two people were lightly injured by Hapoel‘s pyro and all of the others were injured as a result of police violence.

Bin ich der einzige, der es, naja, amüsant findet, dass Hoffenheim die Nachspielzeit im Fadenkreuz zeigt?

Beitar Jerusalem group La Familia, probably the most well-known far-right group in Israel well beyond football, replied back then with an invitation for a fight, along with the message „f*** Antifa 5/5

Some two years ago, Ultra Sankt Pauli held a banner in solidarity with Hapoel Tel Aviv after the club’s training ground had been set in fire by La Familia, with USP saying “f*** Beitar, f*** Nazis” back then.

Many Israeli supporters were angered by the use of the term „Nazis“ back then. 4/

It started with “f*** Likud (Israel’s ruling right wing party), f*** Hamas” at the Millerntor, continued with far-right Maccabi Tel Aviv group Fanatics holding a banner with a reference to #fcsp and MTA’s rivals Hapoel Tel Aviv, whose ultras are friends with USP: “f*** Hamas, St. Pauli, Hapoel” 2/

FC St. Pauli supporters to far-right Israeli fan groups: “f*** La Familia, f*** Fanatics, f*** weapons.”

The war of banners between FC St. Pauli supporters and far-right ultra groups from Israel continues.

Finally, after almost nine hours, the whole thing is done.

Democracy is annoying, time consuming and often inefficient.

I still wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thankful for my club belonging to its 150,000 members and to no one else.

Thanks for sticking around, my work here is done ❤️ #effzehmv

Team Stobbe wins, #Effzeh officially has new leadership.

“Der FC Köln ist wieder da,” the crowd chants.

One of the speakers, a high-ranking REWE official, says one of the candidates should be voted for despite his… looks.

“He is bald and he doesn’t look nice, but he’s nice, I promise you.”

All three possible management teams spoke. Their supporters spoke. Now the part where members ask candidates questions.

50 people want to ask questions.

50. Five zero.

People have been here since 11:00. It’s 17:20.

“Those who ban antifascism want fascism! F*** Trump, f*** Wilders and make Antifa great again!”

Bayern Munich ultra group Schickeria München criticize the classification of the Antifa movement as a terrorist organization in the US and the Netherlands.

Now for the voting on the current management’s role, and obviously, there aren’t enough devices for the some 6,000 members in attendance.

Moreover, some devices haven’t received the voting notification.

In Dschermany we call it Digitalisierung. #effzehmv

First speeches after my arrival: criticism of the management and its handling of the role (they’re sat right next to the speaker), and a member complaining a cooperation with a South Korean team didn’t come to fruition, telling the management they can “shove their international efforts.” #effzehmv

After your membership card and ID are being checked, you receive a BlackBerry sort of device to digitally vote on the different suggestions and issues at hand, including the vote for the new management.

As we’re in Germany, you also get some cardboards in case your machine doesn’t work. #effzehmv

On today’s episode of “democracy comes at a price”:

I’m heading to 1. FC Köln’s AGM, where #Effzeh ’s members in attendance will vote for a new leadership and, well, listen to all sorts of people talking about all sorts of things for hours on end.

Expect fun. Rolling thread. #effzehmv
