Security technologist, always curious, industry analyst and practice lead at Futurum, trying to do the best I can re:work/life balance, etc… Work: Interplay between cybersecurity and economics is my catnip. Non-work: family, friends, golf, volleyball.
Especially if the jedis want to work ATC.

I read it as a notice about staffing related shortages at all those airports plus weather notice at the ones at bottom: winds, thunderstorms, low visibility.

In other words, extra patience related to travel.

The realization that the good work I do is how I provide for my family. Simple, but works for me.

I’m a fan of knowing which work one should outsource. For us, we chose to pay others to do some yard work and some house cleaning. The “value of time” calculator from ClearerThinking.org was helpful for deciding. HTH.

Hoping for the best for you. We lost one of the boxes of stuff when we moved from Brazil to Canada ages ago. Most arrived ok, but one didn’t :-(

I wanted to find it. Tried Claude, no luck. Gemini pointed me to the TOMT community in Reddit but didn’t link the video. I found it searching there, thanks to some kind soul that posted 5y ago or something. :-)

Really clear, thank you for sharing. Hoping more people lean on it and adapt it to their environments.

Yeah. I recall a friend who used to coach youth hockey in Canada. He’d kick-off the initial parents’ meeting with “if your kid is playing here on this team and this league, he’s NOT going to the NHL, so cool it”. Wise man.

The 1/3 cup measure is the one I use to move coffee from the large coffe grounds tin into the smaller one. Fits perfectly without spilling over. :)

Awesome. I’m really bad but it’s fun to play with players at a similar level as you.
