Chalk! Caught them on their first visit to LA, goan Belfast. Classic industry geezer intro show, I'm old enough to be the band's mum yet the place was crawling with over 50s. LA! Intestinehead opened, "We're not online yet." They're the double guitars, REALLY tight, extremely good.

Serious People last night via @amcinematheque.bsky.social. If you appreciate indie cinema like Linklater and Napoleon Dynamite, you need to see this movie. A love/hate letter to LA, a doppelgänger horror genre movie wrapped in an excruciatingly Larry David comedy. Debut feature, fantastic. A+++

Everyone was streaming the Dodger's winning game everywhere, on phones and tablets and TVs. If not for that, Dia de los Muertos at Hollywood Forever would truly have been dead. Hope it comes back to life soon. Fuck ICE, go Dodgers, viva Los Angeles.
