Yeah, Dallas and Washington ended up being much worse than they seemed when the Bears played them, and their other wins came against truly terrible teams. It helps that there are so many really bad teams this year, and it may help that some of the good teams look a little shaky.

After the game last night I heard someone say the Bears are either the best bad team or the worst good team. I will say that at least this year they’re finding ways to win, unlike how things were with the last head coach.

It’s been a while since the final game of the season, or any games after the midway point of the season, mattered. This is kind of fun!

I’m old enough to remember the song being popular but it wasn’t until much much later that I learned it was about a terrible event that had just happened and not about something that happened in the 19th century.
