I have a shrimp, which is both a fish and a bug if you squint. Not very anthro because anytime I don't think I have the skill to furry-ify a shrimp. (First and last art is mine, second is from Cerebrum_Cupcakes, third is from alwaysoutofpaper; both on ArtFight)

#xenofiction I should start shouting into the void to see if I can get some cool books looked at! So first up: Hunters Unlucky.

It's a story about a little guy trying to outwit the evil big cats oppressing his people. It's recently been made into a series but this book is a standalone. (1/3)

This is Samurai the Giant Asian Hornet and that is Dusk, a Black Witch Moth / Tropical Swallowtail Moth cross. Samurai's ref shows her as a young whippersnapper before her wing and jaw get torn up, but Dusk's is still accurate. He rides a vampire bat named Dawn--he's a dragon rider of the bug world.

Her legs and abdomen are more vibrant than is typical of her species, with her light stripes starting at a typical orange color and becoming bright yellow at the end of her abdomen. A brown, fluffy moth with shiny eyes and large pseudo-pupils slightly darker than the rest of his eyeballs. His wings are dark brown and have wavy patterns of darker and lighter stripes.
