So! Today! Is the 6th state marching band contest since this operation started for me, the 5th containing one of my kids. It is also the very last one. I'm gonna have some feelings about it. We still have one more competition after this. And then what? Then what.

Driving to St Louis today for Kid3's prelims run for the St Louis Super Regional, featuring Drum Major Kid3's Girlfriend, and accompanying Kid3 on the mellophone, Kid2's boyfriend. Super hype - probably my favorite event of the season, for all that I want to puke the whole time from anxiety.
