Ask yourself this: Do you want this to be the future of your anime watching experience, forever? If your answer is no, then act on it! If you are a journalist or anyone with a platform, talk about this! If you know such people, urge them to do so! Use my article as base! Now, before it's too late!

In that respect, he's preposterously lucky that Zack has become leader of the UK Greens and can help repackage the ideas into something that is more politically viable. And now he can go do his movie and not really have to worry about meeting the moment.

Like most people who get popular enough to become noticed by people subject to algorithmic Hell, he stands as a good starting point for awareness about inequality, but can't really take you further; you need to be able to jump off yourself further into the murky unknown.

As best I can tell, he wants regular people to spread word about inequality and make it a part of the normal conversation. But that doesn't do anything on its own. You need to advocate for policy changes and help champion politicians who are willing to fight for that cause as well.

What you're left with is "we saw the largest wealth transfer, we're going to see collapse of living standards, it's only going to get worse unless you Do Something About Inequality", and, like. What? What is it that you want people to do, Gary? Do you have any call to action at all?

On the one hand, I can get why he doesn't find it fun or funny to talk about and wants to keep it serious, and that throwing blame around doesn't help in solving the problem at hand. However he also isn't exactly helping the conversation when he refuses to pin down a cause or a solution himself.

The real awkward part is where Punter tried to get Gary to partake in a standard bit of his videos about calling out who to blame for the way things are, and instead of entertaining the notion, he just shuts the idea down.
