Why is it that most people in the US only realize the problems with capitalism when it comes to pro and college sports teams?

2 Bills this week were introduced in the #IndianaLegislature that would rob voters of the opportunity to elect school board members w/decision-making power. The war on voter rights continues.

Labor organizers across the US see first hand the unsustainable rise in healthcare for workers. The only path forward is simple: every labor union in the country needs to join a coalition to fight for universal healthcare.

Last night, the ILEA voted to recommend to disenfranchise voters & move to an appointed board. The committee was led by the mayor w/ a yes vote by the Supt. The only no vote was a teacher/parent. Speaks volumes.

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

Redistricting off-cycle is terrible. Gerrymandering is terrible. The only solution is to find independent sources to create fair maps across the country.

And ranked choice voting.
