Last year, during a power outage, I did this little crafting project featuring all the badges of all the cons/events I've ever been at, in chronological order.
Because of this, I now have this little ritual of coming back home after a con, pinning up the new badge, and taking a moment of gratitude.

This doesn't actually bother me -- I'm glad these are still in use and haven't become e-waste. I don't need full HD for a 75 minute connection flight.
But it's still very funny to me to see a 4:3, probably 640x480, interlaced display in the Year of Our Lord 2024 xD
