in a sense yes, if the government had better worker protections and public safety nets paid for by taxes this would effectively restrict supply. but even that is not enough, i want a ministry of culture that restricts the supply even further.

if the market has determined that games produce enormous revenues at $60 dollars, the government should step in and say "it is socially irresponsible to sell this for $60 dollars"
