Yeah, 2025 was a banger of a year for games. I definitely feel like we'll remember this as an incredible year for a long time to come.

I have no comments on E Sports, Community Support, or Content Creator.

So yeah, those are my thoughts. I think it's going to be a huge year for Clair Obscur (and well-deserved), but it does mean a few things will go unawarded, particularly if Clair Obscur picks up any of the tossups.

- If Ghost of Yotei wins anything, it has a shot at Audio Design or maybe Best Narrative, but I think that would be a bit of an upset.
- Hades 2 has a chance to win more than just one, but as I haven't played it yet I can't comment on which ones are most likely.

- Yes, I doubt that Silksong, Ghost of Yotei, or Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will win many awards, given their overlap with Clair Obscur in most categories.
- If Silksong snags anything, it'll be taking Action/Adventure from Death Stranding 2 or mayyybe snagging something like Art Direction

No other predictions, but a few final thoughts:
- Happy to see Blue Prince get some noms, but I doubt it takes home any prizes here. Maybe at a full Indie awards show, but even then Clair Obscur is likely to sweep.
- Very happy to see The Midnight Walk get nommed for Best AR/VR and hope it wins.

- South of Midnight wins Games for Impact
- Marvel Rivals likely gets Best Ongoing
- Mario Kart World probably gets Best Sports/Racing
- Final Fantasy Tactics or The Alters gets Best Strategy/Sim
- GTA 6 is Most Anticipated (obviously)

Again, these are predictions, not my preferences.

Now for the less clear:

- Art Direction, Audio Design, and Narrative feel like potential toss-ups. I think Clair Obscur is still favored in all of these, but I could easily see other games taking them.
- I think Hades 2 takes Best Action, but this is one spot I could see an upset.

- Clair Obscur wins Game of the Year, Best Performance (Hopefully for Jennifer English), Best Score & Music, Best Indie Game, Debut Indie, and Best RPG.
- Death Stranding 2 wins Best Game Direction and Best Action/Adventure
- Split Fiction wins Best Multiplayer
- DK Bananza wins Best Family Game

I keep hearing rumors of a remake in the works for this game and I would love it if that happened. This was one of my favorites from the GameCube era.

I also feel that sometimes. But I do honestly feel like the community here is way better and more supportive, and I can only hope that the energy will grow over time.

And in all fairness to WotC, I actually think these are all things they did really well. They just overdid it (by several orders of magnitude.)

-Start by discussing how to make new designs scale better for multiplayer (something I think WotC actually did pretty well).
- SLIGHTLY increase the prevalence of Legendary Creatures
- Retune color pie to cover multiplayer weaknesses
- Bump up Commander-centric reprint products
