Had our first successful runs in Hades 2 tonight, beating Chronos' stupid face twice. Takes a while to get good when you only play for like 5 hours once every 3-4 weeks, but we got there.

Okay, but what if Dispatch released the game as a TV series, with all the most popular player choices as the canon version of events? They'd have to add some new animation to make the dispatch & hacking game sections more engaging but also? I'd watch.

Some games I played this year are on massive sale right now on both Steam & PS Store, including Lost in Random (85% off), Eternal Strands (70% off), The Quarry (85% off), and Limbo (90% off! Seriously, it's $1 right now). I enjoyed all of these games and seriously Limbo is $1 wtf are you doing?

Finished The Outer Worlds 2 today and I have to say, I was quite impressed with the game's ending. Even if I didn't make all the "right" choices along the way, it still managed to end on a satisfying, even poetic note. Obsidian did a good job with this one.

I already have thoughts on Metroid Prime 4, but I owe it to the game to play more than 5 hours before I commit to any of them. Suffice it to say I see a lot of elements that have the potential to develop into real strengths, and how good of a game it is largely depends on whether or not they do.
