...ZX-81. Said computers like that were going to be crucial to art and media creation (this is, like '82-3). Demonstrated some ASCII 'art'. Unimpressive. But, he was kinda right.

But also totally wrong. None of the crap these water swilling, 'electr-o-sux' behemoths are offering is close to art.

Anyway, moved on from those adventures to l'il ol' ZX-81, plugged into a crappy TV set and learning BASIC, recorded onto a crappy Realistic cassette. Kinda neat. Mostly tedious, because...no real results. Novelty abandoned.

And then...at art school..there was a guy who was obsessed with the ZX-81.
