US statehood isn’t a decolonizing option for Puerto Rico. Also, most voters casted their vote against it.

I don’t know if you saw this, but Puerto Rico had a status referendum this election and they voted for statehood.

I know things are bleak, but we should try to respect that, if at all possible.
