wonderful thing about living on the top floor of an apartment building, never run heat. middle of december, 40-50 outside and almost 80 in my room from everyone else running theirs.

i do this. spite just feeds my depression. i look towards stuff that is being created and try to live for that. get myself excited to experience a new world, fiction or story that people are creating. i feel like that stuff will always exist no matter how people let me down.
i know a lot of people are like "live for spite!!!" and i 100% support that if that's what keeps you going but if it doesn't work for you you can live for a variety of reasons, including "read book that isn't out yet", "love", "step on a crunchy leaf", "look at the river", "pat a creature" etc

I rarely ever quote dunked anyway, usually quoting to agree or make a funny emphasis based on someone else's post. But like only a handful of people actually follow me on here and I'm not sure I have the energy to rebuild a new presence on social media
