#rstats Please welcome Jarl, a new R linter.

Jarl is a CLI tool with extensions in VS Code, Positron, and Zed. It can check thousands of lines of R code in milliseconds.

Jarl provides several output formats, a Github Actions workflow, and more.

We are looking for #rstats community feedback on 3 new dplyr functions!

We're aiming to expand the `filter()` family:

- `filter()` to keep rows
- `filter_out()` to drop rows
- `when_any()` and `when_all()` as modifiers

Oh. My. Gosh. Data Science Lab was SO FUN today! Just casually sharing screens to walk through settings live was incredible.

I'm gonna start a thread here of some of the stuff we shared/learned together as a community. Great stuff was shared by all! #databs #rstats #python

I'll be keynoting at R/Pharma a week from today! The conference is free and virtual. I'll be focused on the mundane use cases of LLMs for wrangling data with #rstats, and the content should feel applicable for folks outside of pharma—come through. :)

#rstats/ #databs storytime 🧵

I have a good friend who I haven't talked to regularly for a time. While catching up with her, she lamented having to take stats courses for her PhD program (she's in archeology/anthro). I offered to help her study, and she put me off, saying she couldn't ask that.

I'm excited to share a new version of the Air formatter for #rstats, with support for tabular formatting! Super useful with `tibble::tribble()` calls or `data.table::fcase()`.

It's currently experimental as we're looking to get feedback on the feature, so please let us know what you think.

I shared this earlier because I think it is so funny but then I also thought to myself, what advice would I (a learning scientist by background, married to someone who teaches programming) actually give a developer who feels bad reading this? How can you avoid writing this?

A few tips:
