Apparently the German word for “ace” has a double meaning in this context. #erstebankopen

My living room was giving quite the vibe this morning as I got ready. It’s better with the sound on 😭

At work we accidentally received 12 bottles of malt vinegar (only four pictured here) instead of two boxes of tea for our clients. Somewhere there’s a pub having a very disappointing fish and chips night.

Going through photos from my recent trip to France and am only now noticing that what looks like a Parakeet flew in front of me as I snapped a quick photo while walking in the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont!

‘Somebody Somewhere’ on HBO flew under the radar but is maybe one of the best shows I’ve seen in the last 10 years. It was a gift of a show. It deserved more Emmy love but these noms were so well deserved.

It’s the condo on the left with the sign. Collectively the two condos are about 4,700 sq ft. But obviously a quadplex or triplex would ruin the character of the neighborhood, which itself was gentrified to hell and pushed out most the Black residents (N. Fourth Ave).

Someone in my neighborhood has a box where you can take a poem or leave a poem for the next person. This poem, Mimesis, by Fady Joudah, hit hard.

It startled me on my walk as I rounded the corner - it was so big!

"There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state. The other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people." - Commander William Adama

Officiated a friend’s wedding this past weekend and what a gift it was to not only be able to serve in the role but to connect with so many of their friends and loved ones, some of whom are now my own dear friends. Have to celebrate joyous moments when so much feels overwhelming right now.

There is simply no sport like tennis. Over five hours played, match points saved, breaks reclaimed, exhaustion battled, mentality locked in, rivalry sealed. Alcaraz may have won the title but tennis fans are the ones who really won today. #Vamos #Forza #FrenchOpen

Asked this on Twitter (before I fully transitioned to BlueSky) back in November. Now we know the answer.
