It depends on who's operating the development, nonprofits charge based on operational costs while market rate housing has to make a profit. It also depends on what type of housing you're building, single stair buildings are cheaper to build than the mid rise apartments that have been poppn up

She's a suburban Liberal who caters to conservative suburbanites that hate NYC to win political points. A good example was her proposal to upzone the land around train stations, it wouldve addressed housing needs, boost transit ridership & give local munis more tax revenue; She caved on it

If you can address the 3 biggest hits to your pockets which is housing, transportation & food; you can bring down the COL. His platform is pretty transparent on how he can achieve that. He's also crowdfunding a transition team that isn't hand picked by corporate interests to help where he lacks XP
