DOGE is actually INCREASING the deficit.

It has cut only a small fraction of what it’s claimed to cut.

And it’s cutting the IRS and CFPB — both of which GAIN revenue for the government.

So DOGE is a money loser — except for Elon Musk, who profits off fat government contracts.

The DOGE firings have nothing to do with “efficiency” or “cutting waste.” They’re a direct push to weaken federal agencies perceived as liberal. This was evident from the start, and now the data confirms it: targeted agencies overwhelmingly those seen as more left-leaning. 🧵⬇️

This is absolutely chilling. A glimpse of the totalitarian state to come.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

Connolly: "There's a difference between cutting waste fraud and abuse, and dismantling whole agencies. No one gave Trump, no one gave Elon Musk that authority. It is unconstitutional. It is unlawful. It is a violation of Article 1. And we're gonna fight it."

Contradicting comments he made Monday that dismissed concerns of China stepping in where USAID left.

Let me emphasize: Elon Musk has not been confirmed by Congress. His “department” was never actually enacted. No one other than Trump has given him any authority.

Democrats and any Republicans with a spine need to step in and stop this madness.
